Join UVA's School of Data Science as they host Data Activist in Residence Renee Cummings in conversation with Nikuyah Walker, the first black female mayor of the City of Charlottesville in a conversation about data justice and activism in our communities. Responding to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s "Why We Can't Wait," the two will engage each other and attendees in an exploration of activism as a tool for justice in a data saturated world.
