  • New York University [online] Washington, DC USA (map)

Racism, equality, and social justice have both brought the United States together while at the same time, polarized this country into a deep divide. This virtual webinar will include the point of view from individuals on various ends of the political spectrum who will share their experiences from the Civil Rights Movement to Black Lives Matter. They will share how these movements have impacted and influenced their politics, and where the momentum for equity and justice is headed today.

This conversation is designed to create a dialogue to engage and empower future generations, and will be moderated by two current NYU Washington, DC (NYU DC) students. Featured panelists for the afternoon discussion include The Honorable Carol Moseley Braun (D-IL) and The Honorable Ron Christie, Founder & President, Christie Strategies LLC; Instructor, NYU DC.
