Following the preventable deaths of loved ones due to childbirth complications, two families galvanize activists, birth-workers and physicians to reckon with one of the most pressing American crises of our time – the US maternal health crisis, we’re honored to bring AFTERSHOCK to you. Join us on February 22 to watch an exclusive screening of AFTERSHOCK, followed by a panel discussion with maternal health providers, advocates, and maternal mental health professionals, moderated by maternal and reproductive justice advocate and Birth in Color RVA Executive Director Kenda Sutton-EL.
